Veronica, this one is really beautiful, juicy and consistent. It feels like I'm reading a very rare book. :)) How you gather all the information and keep it flowing artistically, delicately, and imaginatively is amazing. Your work is wonderful! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much Katerina! Your feedback means a lot!! 💗🙏

I never quite know what's going to come when I write. What I do know is that this 'delicate lightness' of flow comes from many years of writing. I now fully trust that process, and I think part of what you're reading is the joy which carries this flow.

My pleasure, I'm glad it gets to you!🙌Yes, I can sense that you're writing with joy and that you have experience with the craft of writing :). I like how well-balanced "delicate lightness" sound together, and how they can transform in delightness. 🤓

This is a powerful quote, "The creative adult is the child that has survived." It's also curious how syntropy was passionately rejected as we usually are quick to pick up the dualistic nature of life. I'm glad you mentioned how humankind is rapidly ratcheting up entropy. I wish more people felt less helpless (and frightened) and more moved to do something about it. Perhaps we are beginning to experience our need for syntropy and centering. xo

I think people are feeling helpless and frightened because (and as long as) they are buying into the 'entropy-only' worldview, which is scary. Of course! Always expecting some looming end times... As soon as we realise that syntropy is the other (forgotten or denied) part of life, everything changes! It is not so difficult to experience. Our own body is continuously regenerating herself. That's a powerful expression of syntropy (and a good reason to be hopeful, since the same principle must apply to our whole life too).

Thank you, I needed to hear that this morning!

I was reading Mitch Horowitz’s book about paranormal and psy research the concept of retrocausality came up.

In a heavily cited chapter where it was clear he wanted his writing to truly be taken seriously, Horowitz discussed various research that seems to indicate that there is an extra-material dimension to consciousness.

So yeah! This study. Have you heard of it? They had two groups of people. One took a little quiz and then read some magazine or other as a control, then the test group took a quiz that they studied for as soon as they were done.

You can undoubtedly guess the group that studied after taking the quiz out performed the control group in statistically significant numbers!

I can’t remember much more about the study, but it seemed well designed enough. You might enjoy checking out the book. It’s called Daydream Believer.

Thank you so much, Geoffe. No, I haven't heard of, or read Mitch Horowitz. Thanks for the recommendation. I'm not surprised that this information is gradually coming through from all kinds of angles.

side note: Consciousness is immaterial. This should go without saying, imho, since quantum science has confirmed that matter doesn't exist...

Thrilling exploration. It’s hard to believe the scientific community pushed back on syntropy… isn’t it obvious? Everywhere we look! Chaos/nothingness ordering itself into something-ness. Would you say the formation of fractals are an example of syntropy?

Expand full comment

I know! Crazy, isn't it? I've come across syntropy through the permaculture community. When we wanted to plant a new food forest, and one of our volunteers asked whether I'd heard of 'syntropic farming'...

I hadn't, but immediately spent a weekend researching, and knew by the end of it that 'THIS is what we have to do!'

So my preliminary answer is, I first 'met syntropy' via a very practical route and experience. Syntropic farming is based on intense diversity to 'emulate a kind of mini rainforest'.

Your question, whether 'the formation of fractals are an example of syntropy' forces me to think about this topic in another way...

You're right. If living systems create order out of chaos (and our compost heap is a beautiful example of this), we end up with a living organism (humus) where life regenerates and rearranges itself in its fractal nature. So we could perhaps say that fractals are the natural form, or appearance of syntropy. Or that fractals and syntropy are two intrinsic features of a living system.

Wonderful read Veronika. Thanks for this 🙌

Dear Veronica, thank you so much for sharing such lucid writing and bringing to light the beautiful nuances of syntropy. The concept very much resonates with my own deep dives into Jungian psychoanalysis, the self archetype and the teleological forward striving impetus towards wholeness. And now, thanks to you, I have discovered another layer to this deeper reality. Much respect to you and your work.

Wonderful! Welcome to Synchronosophy and thank you for your kind words 💕🙏

And thank you for introducing yourself! Now I look forward to reading your work too.

Thanks Veronika! Had to read this a few times. Synchronosophy supports the dynamics of syntropy. I feel this. Childhood trauma definitely sets up our patterns. In looking back I can see this and where the treasure lies. Some already dug up. Looking forward to breathing into the poetry of entelechy. Bless you 🙏❤️

Yes, it can take a little while to get our heads around the concept of syntropy. For some strange reason some scientists don't seem to want us to know about this.

Not very long after virtually killing off Fantappiè (he died soon after his massive rejection from the scientific community) someone reintroduced the concept under the name 'negentropy' (I think it was Schrödinger). This odd concoction of a word got accepted, I think someone even got a Nobel Prize for it(!)... but the concept itself has been kept totally out of the mainstream understanding...

negentropy... WHY??? especially after Fantappiè's genius had already gifted us with the perfect and beautiful word ~ SYNTROPY!

This is all so amazing, Veronika, and as always, beautifully expressed with your unique voice and delivery.

I'm currently writing lyrics for a song about seeking/finding wholeness, and I'm speaking to that which drives us to restore balance, to unify our parts as there is an innate knowing that in doing so, we then fully tap into or align with the frequency of Source. Your piece has nourished me with more ideas about how to write about this alchemical process. THANK YOU again for sharing your gnosis, my sister.

Ernst Götsch's Syntropic Agriculture is truly an inspiration - syntropy in action - the evidence is plain for anyone who wants to see.

With Science's 500 year agenda to 'control Nature', we've ended up with an entropic (mechanical) world of disconnect, winding down to chaos - no wonder there's a mental health crisis.

Taking Syntropy into the inner world is another mode of inspiration altogether. And Synchronosophy shows a way to healthily work with both regeneration and degeneration (yin & yang) in their proper place, playing their both vital roles.

Amazing post 💜

Thank you! 🧡 🙏

Perhaps this answers the perennial question, "What does it mean to be human that technology deprives us of?"

Expand full comment

Quite possibly. Technology, or rather Technocracy, builds a structured entropic world that is running down and can only be sustained by constant propping up..., by grabbing Nature's resources, and imposing top-down violence both on Nature and society. It is the destructive-only part of the cycle and does not allow syntropic new life to flourish.

thank you truly for such lovely feedback. 💕🙏 I am delighted to hear from and connect with anyone who has developed a similar experiential philosophy (which I think is pretty rare, and therefore makes me feel less 'crazy'). Feeling uplifted and grateful that my words speak to you (esp. after having had responses of a darker kind...)

Wonderful! I wasn't sure with this chapter on (mainly) syntropy, whether it would suffer a similar fate as the one experienced by Fantappiè and Vannini. I'm delighted to experience a happy surprise!!

In engineering, we learned about the Second Law of Thermodynamics and Entropy. But not about Syntropy, the joining of forces towards harmony and cooperation. This is how Nature really works. Other species know it and act accordingly. Maybe Homo Sapiens can learn something old once again.

Isn't that funny and bewildering that such a fundamental principle was not known (or ignored) not that long ago?

I guess it has something to do with technology focusing on manmade systems, and then trying to translate the principles into living organisms...

Thank you so much for your thoughts, feedback and support! 💕🙏

This is precisely what happened; a focus on human-made systems and a dismissal of anything else. Well, now we see the mess of such thinking.
