Synchronosophy. Wow. Around two years ago I stumbled into Substack as a surprise in a journey into the unknown. Somebody trying to share his own writing while looking for a mirror and doors to see into and beyond his own words. What I found here were doors that opened up the spaces between those words.

Somehow one of the first writers I met here was Veronika. I know now that was not a coincidence but a gift. Veronika, you have helped influence my own journey as I live in to the questions. Thank you for this beautiful introduction to a book that I have slowly read. Here. A book that took me into the veins and arteries that flowed through the rivers of something that was concealed being revealed in some kind of a deeper knowing. A door to a place I had been before. A place where I already was. Here.

A new map of consciousness.

Synchronosophy is a combination of three Greek words syn = together + chronos = time + sophia = wisdom. Wow. A new word. A door.

Synchronosophy- The inner world of individual human Consciousness. The map of the Noctarine. A living organism with eight vital faculties. Body, Intellect, Instinct, Imagination, Intuition, Inspiration, Soul, Will. Thank you for this gift of seeing Veronika!

An invitation back to our indigenous roots. Our essence. A way beyond an anthropocentric mindset. A door from the inside out. Beyond shame. Beyond fear. Clarity singing through the chaos and confusion. A healing.

The symbiocene waits in the silences between the words. Revealing a meaning and a knowing. Synchronosophy is a way home.

Thank you for this understanding of Being.

I will drink from this book over and over again.

Thank you for sharing it here chapter by chapter.

Thank you for helping me lean into this contagious mystery called life. You are a blessing.

🙏❤️

same here Jamie. You were one of the first fellow writers I bumped into on substack, one of the first who read and commented on my wordcasts... and stuck with it all the way until here! I was instantly intrigued by your wordcreation Cuoreosity... Thank you for being here and encouraging me, cheering me on, accompanying me along this tentative, often scary, and so enriching journey of 'coming out' with our words 🙏❤️

Yes, words are portals. Some words are secret backgates.

Synchronosophy is such a secret gate to a path, opening up to another way of living within this crazy chaotic destructive anthropocentric world, cutting humans off from themselves. Yes, Synchronosophy is a way home... to the Symbiocene.

Symbiocene (the word) is a big gateway into a whole other world of being, a kind of 'gateway to heaven on earth' perhaps. The path of Synchronosophy leads to the gates of the Symbiocene.

My heart fills with a sense of kinship. It is rare for me to be in touch with someone who resonates so much with my own journey. There are ways that your work and mine are like yin and yang, two approaches to the same ineffable reality. Thank you for your deep effort to bring this work forth. The ripples of your doing so are in ways feeding my own efforts as I wrap up Volume 1 of my trilogy on psychotopology. They are cousins, perhaps, calling to one another.

How lovely! Thank you Joe for being here and sharing this resonance. I can see how your work and mine are circling around the same centre at heart, arriving from different (complementary?) angles and via alternate experiences.

It is absolutely wonderful and reassuring to meet someone with a comparable 'strange' journey ~ definitely a rare occasion for me too.

I look forward to diving into Psychotypology when Vol. 1 is complete

After 25 years of various attempts to bring Synchronosophy to the world, the time has come for it to be an 'instant success'. A path to grow afresh our autochthonous ways of being has been charted, awaiting intrepid travellers who see stepping into the unknown as a gift to be unwrapped, rather than a threat to be avoided.

😅 The funny thing is, after 25 years of growing autochthonous roots 🫚 from the inside, one of the greatest successes is to feel completely liberated from the need of any 'instant success' in the outer world. But yeah, I know what you mean 😉🥂

Curious to see what will grow next from these roots...

Yes, one must be wary of desiring 'success" --

Charles Bukowski said “when a writer is swayed with his fame and his fortune, you can float him down the river with the turds.”

And Ray Bradbury said “It is a lie to write in such a way as to be rewarded by money in the commercial market. It is a lie to write in such a way as to be rewarded by fame offered you by some snobbish quasi-literary group in intellectual gazettes.”

With Synchronosophy as the process by which writing is done, such sentiments above are unlikely to occur. Success has already been redefined as a surprise in the journey into the unknown.

Ah yes — the dreaded “memoir about the psychodrama of my life!” 😆 In my case I imagined what kind of traditional adventure book people might like to read, that I might like to read, and let that book transcribe my life.

Yet our own psychodrama is exactly where that touch of relatability, of personal connection, lives and breathes

Taking this as a separate thread here, as it diverges from the comment below.

Yes, the integration of all the "Faculties" comes through loud-and-clear in your writing, Veronika. Thanks, also, for shining a light on Itzhak Bentov's and Margaret Newman's works here--adding to my list to check them out.

This may not be relevant to your own philosophy, but I am listening to an interview Mayim Bialik did last week with Deepak Chopra (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9TbJWb8k2Y&t=862s).

Deepak's book, "You Are the Universe," has influenced my understanding that consciousness may be the ground state of being. Our brains are must receptors and interpreters.

His most recent book, which I haven't yet read but this interview explores, posits that virtual reality and AI, are simply projections from our own subjective consciousness are what we call "reality." And to the extent you can convince masses of other people to buy into your version of reality it becomes the dominant paradigm. This is how the billionaire owners of media outlets operate, and individual "influencers" on social media emulate.

Projecting that subjective reality onto the screen of society feels very much like what's happening in the anthropocene right now, but on a malevolent level.

If I can get my thoughts together, I hope to explore this a bit on my Substack.

Listening into the Chopra interview sounds to me like he is referring to the concept of consciousness suggested by Amit Goswami (quantum physicist and vedic scholar) and put forward in 1995 in his book The Self-Aware Universe, which has also been encouraging me to develop the foundations of my work.

Of course, Chopra is familiar with Goswami's work, and the Vedic Science of Mind is after all also 'a return to his own roots'. It is delightful to see that scientists (and others) are prepared to discuss 'the formlessness of reality' in public without having a meltdown, which is a refreshing 'evolution of consciousness' since 2016 (https://www.amitgoswami.org/2016/05/18/should-deepak-chopra-be-hassled-for-claiming-reality-is-formless/)

Yes, I believe Goswami and Deepak are like-minded on the subject of science and spirituality, Veronika. The "formlessness out of which all form arises"--or conscious universe--is really fascinating to ponder And pretty much the only position that makes sense. To me anyway.

Thank you Robin! I enjoyed reading Chopra's 'Ageless Body Timeless Mind' many years ago, later he seemed to veer off a little too much into 'riding on his bestselling author success', which I found too superficial and not worth reading. But I'll check out his 'You are the Universe' which sounds interesting, and the interview as well. Thank you xxx

Veronika, thank you for sharing such a profound and personal journey. Your dedication to understanding the process is truly inspiring. The evolution of this concept, from its initial emergence to its current form, speaks to a deep commitment to inner exploration and wisdom.

I have not read the other comments on your Introduction, so forgive me if I am out of 'synch' with questions and answers.

I'm very intrigued by many area and will read the links in the order You provided. The concept of the 'Noctarine' and its role as a map of consciousness, is a powerful metaphor, if I understand it right.

What you have done, through this Introduction, is raise enough motivation and curiosity so that I am hoping to find several key areas as I read Your book in its entirety. These areas are initially below, but I need to make more concrete notes to address my questions... but overall Your Introduction has built the desire to continue with a deep read as it offers suggestions that need to be examined, to be understood.

I am hoping to find more on the 'Noctarine' map and how that may be used in daily life to navigate a Negative Subjective Experience (NSE). For example, if someone is experiencing anxiety about a presentation, how would they use the eight faculties to gain insight?

Symbiocentric vs. Anthropocentric: You clearly define the shift from anthropocentric to symbiocentric thinking. I am hoping I will unearth how this shift practically changes the language we use to describe our inner experiences. Maybe specific words or phrases that embody this symbiocentric perspective, or are these personal?

Incidentally, the 'Buddy' metaphor: I found the personification of Synchronosophy as 'Buddy' very compelling.

You linked NSEs to unprocessed trauma and dormant potential, now I am very keen to learn how this process of transforming NSEs through Synchronosophy specifically addresses and heals trauma.

You made a very powerful and important connection to indigenous wisdom and ways of being, I am very curious about the concept of "autochthonous being" connecting to the modern experience, especially for people who have been disconnected from their ancestral roots.

Thank you Veronika, Your exploration of inner landscapes and the importance of embracing uncertainty resonates deeply. I look forward to fully reading and learning more about Synchronosophy and its potential to guide us towards a more integrated and meaningful existence.

This has been quite a journey for you and I am hopeful it helps many in their quest towards fulfilment. More questions and comments as I go deeper - yo have also shown me a wonderful way of connecting dots.

Thank you so much, Colin for such extensive feedback, which is incredibly valuable and encouraging! 💗🙏

A quick response to your question how to navigate an NSE e.g. 'anxiety before a presentation' ~ I would start by inviting the 'intronaut' to talk a little about the 'adverse event' from the usual perspective (1-Body) description of the physical situation (2-Intellect) brief assessment through the current rational lens. The next essential step is to (3-Instinct) tune into the anxiety, feel it, amplify it, receive the emotional message. This may be uncomfortable, depending how familiar the person is with their own emotions. For some people it seems impossible... (because of unresolved trauma)

Assuming step 3 has been successful, we can move on to step (4-Imagination) here you have several options (A) ask for an association in an unrelated situation: 'Where have I felt like this before?' The answer should not be 'a previous presentation, I always experience anxiety before a presentation...' because that would keep it all on the same level. We now need to take the emotional experience to a deeper level.

So it could be a situation where something happened in childhood and provoked the same emotional experience, completely unrelated to presentations. It could also be a scene from a movie, or a book… The answer should come spontaneously and be a surprise.

As an alternative (B) you can draw a sketch in response to the question ‘Where do I see myself when I am in this emotional state?’

Or (C) Close your eyes, ask yourself the same question and wait for a spontaneous mental image to come up on the inner screen

(Again this depends on the individual. Some people visualise easily, others struggle with this. It shouldn’t be a struggle.)

The answer will reveal a personal story pattern, with which we can now work.

Instead of doing a complete session (as described in the 2 final chapters of the book), in this situation I would suggest to experiment with staying at the level of the Imagination and ask a followup question: "What would be a happy ending to this story?"

The answer can be (A) an association, (B) another sketch, or (C) an inner visual followup scene, depending on which variation was chosen.

Again, the answer has to come SPONTANEOUSLY from the Imagination. It doesn’t have any power if it’s made up by the rational mind.

Let me know how you get on!

Hi Veronika,

WOW what a gift you have received in the astonishing downloads, and I can only express immense gratitude that you stuck with shaping it so that you can share the wisdom with the world. No coincidence that the Universe directed me to a platform where I would come across your work — such depth and scope which brings further clarity to the snippets and pokes — the ways in which my soul team are guiding me re intergenerational wounds and other matters. Your work has been an affirming part of my inner journey, so very grateful, thank you — understanding and identify patterns of unprocessed trauma.

And for the discourse community around the Noctarine — just all WOW. Thankful for my learner disposition, each time I come back to read, something else slips into place.

Thank you for sharing your process, your resilience and determination and acceptance that drove you to get it down on paper.

“Synchronosophy is a way of living. It is not a new therapy, or a self-help modality for individual self-improvement.”

This so resonates with how I have come into my own being-ness — through interdimensional connection, outside of the “outdated anthropocentric mindset”. Outside of the mainstream-ness, the by-passing and the fostering of a dependency on others for recovery and healing. Your work is further empowering and enabling, for each “intronaut”.

WOW WOW, Thank you 🙏 😊 🙌 💚 💫

Thank you so much, Simone, for this valuable feedback. I guess that's what I kept feeling too, what kept nudging and prodding me along through all self-doubts.

Early on in my journey, someone suggested that 'the gift' I'd received might be 'just for myself'... and I accepted this possibility (half heartedly). Then it kept coming back 'with a vengeance' and with an inner knowing that these 'nuggets of wisdom' I gathered along the path of my personal journey were meant to be shared, because ultimately we are all connected, and we are here to learn from each other.

That's how the physical organism works and learns as well, through communication between different organ systems, transfer of information between endocrine system and nervous system, between sensory neurons and motor neurons etc. That's the purpose of mirror neurons too.

I understood that I had to find a way that makes the sharing of this information sustainable for myself and palatable for my readers. In other words, I had to become 'a good enough writer'.

Lovely to share this journey with you 💚🦉 🙏 ✨

Funny, Jonathan. I, too, was thinking of David Bohm's writings describing the unfolding and enfolding--the holographic universe. While Bohm was a physicist/philosopher, Veronika, your majestic writings to describe a new turn (a renewal) towards the symbiocene feel like a more biological understanding of these life processes.

As always, your writing is something that asks to be read and reread, assimilated not just as a mental, but also a physical, emotional and spiritual process.
